Autism - Be advocate of your child
Sometimes back I had put a post about a possibility of Treatment for autism coming soon. My brother's son also suffers from autism, and we are eagerly waiting for some solution. Today I am going to share 10 things that every child with autism wants you to know :
First and foremost, he is a child. Autism is just one aspect of his character.
Ordinary sights, sounds and touches of everyday life that is normal for us is painful for him.
It is not true that he does not listen to you - it's just that he cannot understand you.
He likes routines because he knows what to expect - Its only difficult for you to put him into one.
Don't compare him with any other child. He is special in his own way. Believe me, he remembers things so well that he likes.
It's hard for him to tell what he needs. Because he does not know the words to say it.
Be patient and consistent. He learns better when you tell, show and do things with him.
Focus and build on what he can do rather than what he can't.
He wants to be with others, but he just doesn't know how.
And finally love him unconditionally because I promise he is worth it.
So next time if you meet someone with autism, please keep these in mind. It will make a lot of difference you see him then.

Wonderful post so inspiring. My daughter is a Teacher at the High School level for children with autism. She teaches then life skills. Reading over your post I realize it is not only parents that need to know the above helpful information but all that are involved in the child's life. Your post will also educate others that may cross paths with a child with autism to show respect and patience. Thank you so much for sharing.
Great post, I completely agree that they are just kids and they need our help
I’ve seen statistics that 1/3, sometimes 1/4, kids with autism have a comorbid seizure disorder. As a physician, what are your thoughts on that trend, and do you think that is an under-appreciated phenomenon?
Hello friend thank you for the share. I was reading an article the other day and it was about treating autism with broccoli sprouts. Might be something to look into.
Hello friend. Thank you for sharing this information, I find it very useful.
