RE: Spirit Journey: Hummingbird and the Quantum Moment

in #life6 years ago

Your story is so beautiful! I am sure many can relate - I sure do. Going in and out of consciousness, in and out of being present, in tune, out of tune. What an ordeal and responsibility it is to be human. How beautiful that the humming bird came as a messenger to you and shared its healing powers! That is such a nice message that you came away with... to be more present and just be in the moment with yourself and your husband.

I want to share with you earlier this year I had an opportunity with my partner to revive a hummingbird that got stuck in our skylight and exhausted itself trying to fly up and out. Totally exhausted it finally collapsed to the floor, its feet and beak tangled in a piece of spiderweb. The dear thing was gasping with its eyes closed. After gently untangling it and gently stroking its back it finally came back around and wearily flew off. One thing about seeing the hummingbird up close, aside from marveling at its fragility compared to our oafish fingers was noticing that their chest has a pattern of reflective plates/feathers that create a panel that shimmers in glowing colors of reds, oranges, blues, yellows. No wonder they shimmer in the sun! They are certainly so magical in many ways. I hope this story and these photos help you enjoy your moment just a little more :)

@sagescrub he is so beautiful and I am sure very grateful to encounter a couple people who feel kindness and empathy for little creatures!
It's like breathing, the in tune out of tune, present not present. As our consciousness expands, like an exhale of breath and spirit, we must take a pause and periodically inhale as well, and allow our consciousness to shrink again for just a moment. I feel that if we do that with presence, it is how we learn the most about ourselves. We can't always be expansive. Sometimes we gotta take that step back.
Thank you so much for sharing your story and photos. Have a lovely week 😊
