Jesus Of Nazareth (Quote 710) - A Story

in #life7 years ago

Are you 100% sure you will go to Heaven when you die?

Would you like to be sure?

Are you a Christian?

Are you saved?

The first step to salvation is to realize that we are all sinners:

Romans 3:10 (KJV)

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23 (KJV)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

**Next, you must know that because of sin there must be a price paid:

Romans 6:23 (KJV)

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

**This price can be paid by you in Hell, or you can accept the price that Jesus paid for your sin:

Romans 5:8 (KJV)

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

**To accept Jesus’ payment for your sin simply call on His name and ask Him to forgive your sins and save you:

Romans 10:9-13 (KJV)

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. [12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

*****If you are ready to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, take time right now to pray, confessing your sin and asking Him to come into your heart and save you.

When you accept Jesus, He is faithful to do what He said He would - He forgives you and saves you.

1 John 5:13 (KJV)

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

What happens if I sin after I'm saved?

After you're saved and if you sin God will punish your flesh (lose job, sickness, death possibly) but not your spirit. That is a gift you never lose. You may not gain as much of a reward at the judgement day if your sinning isn't curtailed but yet again that one great reward of reigning in Heaven with God will never go away. The best example is one of two children playing outside. They are told by the man in the house not to break any windows. These two children misbehave and break a window. The first child is the son of the man and is physically punished (grounded) but is not legally in trouble and will not have to go to court. The other child is not his son (an example of someone not saved) and will have to legally go to court to find out his punishment.

Believe on Jesus.
