Overprotected dad [me] bringing daughter to first school disco

[Swallow], it's going to start!

I have to protect my daughter against all potential future sons-in-law who will force themselves on her in her life.

Many thoughts run through my mind.

It is my little girl, after all!

All the dangers that lurk ... there are boys, there is drinking, loud music ...

While I was taking her away with the car, I saw my little girl sitting next to me in the passenger seat. With her sunglasses ... because that's cool! It is a disco with the theme beach.

I walk into school with her. The parents are not allowed to walk further than the fence. There she goes....

to face the 'danger' ...

The music is already running and the DJ sends the parents outside.

I let her enjoy it. It is my little girl and I am proud of her. She was having the evening of her life!

Then reality kicked in...She is only 8 .... my thoughts are already prepared for a number of years later in the future!

Tonight she was dancing open-mindedly with her classmates, having fun with fruit juice and at 20:00 she was picked up again.

But I am already prepared!
