Amazing Paradiso Music Festival In Washington State! Tons of fun!
The Journey to Paradise!
The day had finally come! Paradiso was about to take place and I was excited to say the least. Paradiso has a special place in my heart. I've been attending since 2012 and took a one year hiatus from the festival last year due to some personal issues. Regardless Im back and Diso was ready. The plan was to take off and head over to Eastern Washington around 10 am. Surprisingly ;) of course no one was ready and so we had a later start than expected. After we took off for the event it was smooth sailing. Below are two pictures from the way to the festival. The first one is of Quincy, Washington the little town right smack dab next to Paradiso Music Feestival. The second photo is a popular stop for the festival goers to take a quick break from the road, its called Iron Horse State Park.
The Arrival
Once we got to our camping site, me being the festival vet I am. I immediately started claiming the land around us by being the first to set up the tents, canopies, and cooking area. The group ended up thanking me for my aggressive site takeover hehe. Our neighbors were unfortunately total rookies in that sense and ended up having very little space to set up their site.
Thursday Festivities Begin!
Okay, so this is the point where everyone has their camp site setup and all the hard work has made its way to the rear view mirror to be forgotten by all the alcohol available. I am giving you guys a golden piece of advise here: DO NOT GO HAM ON THURSDAY! You will not feel good the next morning and might be too fked up to actually experience the event! I've seen it happen way too often. Remember festivals are a marathon not a sprint. Anyways, after the setup about 20,000 people let the party begin. The drinks keep getting poured, the weed keeps getting smoked, the acid gets popped it gets pretty crazy to say the least. The adventures start and everybody begins exploring the camping grounds while making new friends. Eventually the night had to come to an end in order for the actual festival to begin the next day.
Welcome to Paradiso!
Lets get the party started! Once we got in the whole group was hyped the only issue was the weather was a cool 92 degrees Fahrenheit which meant that hydration was going to be essential survival factor throughout the festival. Once the crew felt hydrated the party really began. We started heading to the stages to start seeing our favorite artists play. Some of the artists such as Black Tiger Sex Machine made their music videos based on the sets they were throwing down for Diso which made the performances EPIC!.
Below are a few videos of the artists we saw live performing so that you can get an idea of the type of music that was being thrown down.
Marshmello Live at Paradiso! Must watch- Goosbumps
# Black Tiger Sex Machine: Fking Epic Set!Day 1 Recap! Still get the chills re-watching to much fun
Okay okay, so Paradiso was friggin epic and was the best one I have been to personally. Being able to escape our day to day issues whether its paying the rent, working everyday, taking care of your kids if you have them. Coming out to a music festival where many people who attend are open minding and non judgmental is just the break some of us need for the daily grind. Coming to these types of events creates a positive impact on your well being and excites you about what the future will hold. On top of the emotional gainz you experience you actually get a legit opportunity to meet and make some really cool friends you might not ever have had the chance to meet. Paradiso has come and gone but I hope this post inspired some of you to go out and enjoy your summer and live your life. We all only get one chance at life and if your not having fun whats the point. Experience music for what it is: a tool to bring people together and bond over some sick grimmy beatz :)
Thank You for Reading: dont forget to like please!
