You never know who you're going to meet! And you can never judge a book by it's cover, so to speak. Mum was in the hospital with Dad the other day, saw a guy who looked quite 'down and out' - her words - and clearly very ill. She'd seen him around a lot - his eyes were very downcast, always dragging his feet, no one around with him. All of a sudden he started playing piano in the loaned piano in the hospital -- she said it was extraordinary, a really talented player. Made her day. People are fascinating.
That's a great story! Yes, people are fascinating. I wonder what that guy's story is. If it would have been me in the hospital, I probably would have had a chat with him. Taking the mind of any illness can work wonders.
