Spring In Nigeria

A Japanese friend once asked me to describe Spring in Nigeria.
I said Spring is the most beautiful season of the year.
Mangoes are ripe and Cashews blossom. There are so many beautiful flowers everywhere, doctors take special care of people with pollen allergies free of charge!
In Spring, Lions and Tigers and Bears come out to walk the streets of Lagos and little children can ride on them without fear
Bus conductors treat their passengers with respect and always have the correct change. Police men do not bother carrying guns and their batons are seldom put to use. The jails are not overpopulated. Beautiful Fountains erupt everywhere from Ikeja to Victoria Island. The homeless are taken care of.
In Spring, everyone is so happy they have a spring in their steps as they bounce up and down the streets. Neighbors greet each other with a kiss on the cheek and smile a lot. You could give a child sweets and the mother wouldn't worry whether you wanted to use it to initiate them into witchcraft.
If you are waiting for a twist, there is no twist. Spring in Nigeria is very beautiful
