After our first night in Merida, we set out to visit the city of Mérida, Capital of the state, needless to say that Merida is a city with many attractive places, which you can visit without the need of a tour guide and only With a map of the city we could enjoy them.

We traveled from the town of La Mesa de Los Indios to the city of Ejido and from there we boarded the Trolebus, which is a public transport that connects the city of Ejido with the capital, as soon as we arrived at it we visited the main square that was built in honor to Simón Bolívar and located in the center of the city, after a while we entered a museum of mechanical puppets that gave one of its functions at that time of day, when we left there we took a walk through the surrounding streets where we saw the University of the Andes, then we visited the Vuelvan Caras square, the walk Los Lectores and the Coromoto ice cream parlor, famous in Venezuela and the world for being the owner of the Guinness Record for offering the greatest amount of different flavors of ice cream, in total almost a thousand flavors, where we could enjoy exotic flavors such as avocado ice cream, crab cream, black beans, tostones (green bananas), jojotos (sweet corn) among others, because that ice cream shop visited We several times during our walks in the capital.
