A Wise Son Brongs Joy to his Father (Proverbs 10)

Proverbs 10:1: A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son grief to his mother.
Proverbs 10:5: He who gathers crops in summer is a wise son. but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.
First of all, we are always children even if our parents pass away. So while it is great for us to be reminded on how to be great dads we must also take the advice we wish our children to accept.
I'm in real estate and gathering the crops in the summer is a very valid statement for me. I can make much more money in the spring and summer months than the fall and winter months. Therefore, I need to gather the crops so both my heavenly father and earthly parents will be proud. It is my responsibility to work and then manage that which is provided to me with wisdom.
