Love-able weekends. Butterfly effect. Student internship. Part 12.
"The butterfly effect"
Hej steemians and other life forms of intelligence !
This week was a heavy but good and strange week.
Two wheeled stuff
This week was the EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan. Italy.
Its a big show where big brands reveal their new models and so did Ducati. This is the new Panigale v4.
However they did not reveal a new model for my dream bike the Diavel. Maybe they will update this next year.
So in my last post I was telling you how my motorcycle already broke down 3 times. I had a replacement scooter and on my work to the gym/home for my first workout session. It also broke down! Aarrgh... I had to pay an take a Uber. About my training I will make a separate post for you guys to follow. I've been training and dieting for 1 week now. Its heavy. And the healthy food is expensive!
My motorcycle got repaired later that week and it now has 3 separate earth wires. It costed me a $220 AUD. :( More then I have earned with deliveroo using this bike. But this is where I wanted to start with the butterfly effect.
The butterfly effect. I think. Is about having a small minuscule change or action in your life set of a chain reaction of bigger actions, for example if I never would have opened that deliveroo mail. Or if I would have bought a different motorcycle. Where would I be now? Would I be better off or worse? Would I have used it to drive to different places and meet different people? Would my current bike have broken down again if it wasn't for deliveroo?
Saturday.
To continue this subject. This Saturday I woke up and started my training session. After that I had no plans for the day. I looked up google "what to do in Melbourne today" instantly clicked the first item and saw it was from 10 to 11. I was about to close this tab on my phone. Before realizing it was 10AM to 11PM. This meant it was still open. Then I decided should I go at 2:30 or 3:00... I took 3:00. I arrived at 2:50 and got in front of the waiting line. There was all kinds of couples standing there but there was 1 really nice looking woman just standing by herself. So I started the conversation. After 10 minutes it was about time to go in and experience the event. Seance in Melbourne.
It was really cool you sit in absolute darkness for about 20 minutes its so dark you can't see anything. You get a pair of noise cancellation headphones, And this audio track starts playing with voices talking about getting ghosts in the room. It was really well done but in my opinion it ended way to soon halfway trough the story. First thing I did when we where outside again is talk to this girl and ask her what she thought about it. After that conversation we where basically walking already and we agreed on drinking something somewhere. However since my diet I can't drink. So we went to the Melbourne library.
And after that I had a coffee with her and we went to the park. We talked for hours on end. She turned out to be a software developer like me. And she is from India. She agrees with me on lots of political subjects and has a very appealing character. So I was really glad to have meet her.
But the change's of this all happening was really low. So much small last moment decisions brought me there. Made us start talking. If only I would have not noticed the AM/PM or would have taken the 2:30 ticket.
Life is weird that way. You start thinking about how much opportunities you are lucky you've got, But also how much you might have had if only you went out that night you didn't feel like going.
Sunday
This day I woke up later then usual to get some good rest. Again without any real plans but my mind was set on driving. I decided to drive to the reefton spur once again. This time not getting lost in the mountains because I am impulsive,
I drove about 5 hours on Sunday without wearing my gloves because of the warmth and I am convinced I won't try to push my bike beyond my own ability and crash it. (But what if I did? The butterfly effect would mean that the small decision to not wear gloves would have made my outcome very differently) So I ended up with burned hands by the sun.
Here are some pictures of the day.
If you want more pictures just comment below and I will respond with more pictures!
After I got home I was really exhausted. I made myself another vegetable smoothie and checked my phone. To my happy surprise something great happened, My favorite artist. "The pretty reckless" of whom I've got a tattoo on my leg. Found my tattoo picture on Tumblr. And uploaded it to her personal profile! among a few other tattoo's people have of the band. It currently has about 40.000 likes.

Then following that Heidi. From "Butcher babies" gave my post on my personal Instagram a like. It is really cool to have famous people interacting with you.
Butcher babies new song
What else?
I will make my weekly RBT training post later today or tomorrow. As well as my beer of the week. However I have been very busy and the interaction on steemit is rather low. It is a bit sad. I hope if you read this you will respond so I know who is actually reading these!
And she is very cute, but DUCATI is more attractive :) You ride with simple jeans ? You need jeans with guards.
I always use to ride without gear for about 6 years now. Had tons of almost crashes. But always managed to not crash. I think when you wear leather with 34c you might have a bigger change of crashing as you pass out of the heat. And in my unpopular opinion I think some guys are over geared on the bmw with reflection. If you don't dare to drive. You should not drive.
I'm riding a summer with a textile jacket, He has a grid that blows through it. Great choice for the summer. You will never be guaranteed to fall. Is always the first time
Point taken. When I get the budget I will haha
I wish that you'd have a only near crashes, but not the major true one. If it's too hot to put the gear on - it's too hot to ride a bike!
