How we think life is unfair by comparing yourself with others.

in #life6 years ago

We always say how unfair our life is, how every other one is getting better treatment in their life and we are the only one who is not getting what we deserve! But do we consider other aspects of life, are we missing some other parts of life to focus on? Let's make it clear.

When we compare ourselves to anyone, the first thing we notice what that person got which is better than us. Like from their appearance, their financial status or even their clothing. But we never focus on seeing what we got more than them like we may have cool parents than that person or may have better knowledge. These comparing things create the judgmental thought in our mind that everything is unfair.

We have to first understand that everything is unequal. You can not compare your look or money with someone else who does not get the same as you. They may have other lackings or shortcomings on the other side of their life, you don't know. Take yourself as an example. Just notice, how many times people get jealous of certain things of you. They think how happy you are or how successful you are. But they never know what is going on inside you, maybe you are lonely/fearful/uncertain on many other things they don't know. See! These same things actually happen to others also.

You can take an example from your country, your football team, your partner's financial condition, I mean anything; you will see this same thing actually happens everywhere. We judge something on the basis of a few things, not overall. If we can see the big picture we will understand how equal is everything!
One of the major aspects which do not let us see the big picture is, we are not thankful enough. We do not show our gratitude for what we have. And this leads us to only focus on what we don't have or how happy others are.
For me, there is an equilibrium in this earth, everything is going by the plan and everything is equal if we consider it in terms of the 'big picture.'

So think about it and try to notice it closely.
