The New Mobile Number Will be 13 Digits From July 1

If you are getting a new mobile number after 1 July 2018, then you will get 13 points instead of ten. The Ministry of Communications has issued instructions to all the states in this regard. BSNL has also started preparations for this.
According to official sources, a decision has been taken in this regard in the meeting held in Delhi in the last few days. It was said in the meeting that there is no scope for new mobile numbers at the level of 10 points. For this reason, series of more than ten digits should be started and later all mobile numbers can be made up of 13 digits.
In this regard, all the circle telecommunication service providers have issued an order to implement it and they have been told to update all their systems accordingly. Suresh Babu Prajapati, Senior General Manager, BSNL (Indore) informed that by December 2018, the old mobile numbers will also be updated under this process. According to a letter from BSNL, the decision to make mobile number 13 points in the meeting held in Delhi last week has been done. At the same time, to change the 10 digit mobile number to 13 digits, the deadline for one October 2018 to 31 December 2018 has been fixed.
