DO YOU FEEL STUCK?
In our time it is more or less common to hear that a person feels "stuck" in his life, a colloquial expression that has its variations (some people consider themselves "stuck", "sunk", "in a rut", etc.) but that, in all cases, accounts for that feeling of frustration, some undesired paralysis and, after all, the impression of remaining in the same existential place, from which there seems to be no way out and about which No change is seen on the horizon.
Accept your circumstances
By principle of accounts, accept the moment you are. Sometimes, by inclining to a certain point "natural" or understandable, we evade the feelings and thoughts of frustration that we have, for different reasons.
However, if you want to get out of there, before you need to accept the reality in which you live and, above all, the discomfort in your life. Try to face it, without fear but also without judgment. Ponder your work, your partner, your economic situation, the addiction that is disturbing your life, your professional situation, etc. What do you find there? That bothers you? Do you often think that you find it unsatisfactory? Is it a source of unhappiness for you? Do not like it but "you hold it"? You do not like it but you think "what is there"? Is it fair for you to settle for that?
Prepare to decide
"Madness is always doing the same and expecting different results every time." Beyond the author of this phrase (which some attribute to Albert Einstein, apparently wrongly), the message is precise: if you want a change in your life, you need to take the necessary actions to generate it.
We know, in effect, that it is not always easy to make a decision. When your income depends on a job, it does not seem easy to give it up from one day to the next. If inside you have a deep (and perhaps still unknown) fear of the feeling of loneliness, it may not be easy to end a relationship, no matter how bad you feel in it. You want to move but you do not have enough money to face that expense, et cetera.
However, it is now possible to get in the way of this change. In other words: take other preparatory or parallel decisions that, in due course, will have served to make the greatest leap.
Examine your circumstances and reflect on what you can do now to get out of that frustration you feel. Save money? Ask among your friends if anyone knows of a job? Talk frankly with your partner? Except for very extreme situations, there will always be something you can do, a decision you can make.
