One thing i have found out in life is that friendship or friendly encouragement is a booster to the confidence and ego of a friend. Friendly words are tonics to advancement.
Frienship is the highest form of relationship scripturally!
Abraham the bible patriach grew in faith until he became a friend of God, then God could no longer hide anything from him again.
After three years of training in discipleship class with Jesus, when He was about going to the cross, He told His disciples,
John 15:15 "Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you."
It is a great gift if you have a dependable friend.
