On May 20, 2016, US President Barack Obama visited instant noodles on Le Van Huu Street, President Barack Obama shared bún chả and cold Hanoi beer with celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain in Vietnam.
Since then, this noodle shop is more known as the name associated with the former president of the US "Obama bún chả”.
