A beautiful monsoon journey on a train in India
Once you get into a sedentary job in Bangalore, not always you get a chance to travel in a train that too when monsoons are in full flow. And this time I traveled a few hundred kilometers and every time I do this in monsoons, I get obsessed with the train journeys.
Unlike in a bus, there are times that I have wondered by their discussions thinking if they are relatives or the strangers on a first time discussion doing it with ease. And those lonely stations with almost no one on a hundred meter long platform but the empty chairs at every twenty meters with the lush green grass everywhere makes it so picture perfect for a movie shoot or a brilliant photography to capture the essence of silence and serene.
It makes me wonder, why the train routes are always constructed in between the farms, the hills or the lake side!! (May be area specific but at least the routes I travel are so). A monsoon journey will definitely fascinate you with the wide green fields spread across hundreds of acres and a heavy pouring almost everywhere, you get to see the streams running in full flow on your way. In fact you get to witness different varieties of flora all the way in your route which makes you curious enough to know more about them. If you can ignore few problems in your journey, I bet you are definitely set to enjoy our beautiful countryside this monsoons. Go guys, have one this season soon!!

Thank You. I will be writing more about India . :)
Most famous country in the world..Spirutual and poor...
Sir times have changed !! India is developing and going back to where it deserves to be soon. India is an amazing country. India was rich and spiritual but then the invaders took most of our money but the values survived. India is going to be rich and spiritual again. Wait for it.
Hare Krishna my friend. India is a land of spirituality and contradiction. It has very rich people but also very poor - say in Calcutta. Wealth is not money, but something much more than that.
Agree to this point that there is lot of difference between rich and poor here. The prime minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi is working towards betterment of this country day and night. Hope he succeeds. You seem to know more about India , Where are you from brother?
