HOME
The importance of home is often forgotten. As humans, we often forget that our home is where we want it to be.
Not necessarily your biological origin/nationality or where you were raised but rather the environment in which you identify yourself the most with.
When one is separated from the place that they call home, it becomes a ride of emotional turmoil. Not knowing where you belong or who you are is a struggle that no one deserves to go through.
In the event that one feels separated and lost in the world, there is desperation for survival and happiness, whether one depends on others or themselves to achieve said happiness becomes of the upmost importance. It is the time that one must fight to become the person they want to be and for the life they want to have.
In this world, "survival of the fittest" does not only apply to one's biological strengths but also to one's mentality. The perception of one as "fit", "perfect", or even "happy" is often an impression encouraged through an illusion.
No doubt there are people who are what they appear but what's important is to not assume based on appearance that everyone is all fine and dandy.
You can always help someone. You never know what words need to be said to encourage someone to be strong in such a hard world. Social expectations have changed per generation, leaving more and more people to contemplate their ability to survive.
Reading this post, I hope you think of your loved ones. Please make it evident that you are always there for them. One always needs to know another is watching or caring about them. It is important to not let one feel alone, for being alone in such a harsh world is no fun at all.
