Any substance has negative sides, but MDMA is not harmful at all. When taking 10 aspirin, one can die, when drinking too much alcohol one can die, when taking to much MDMA one can die. All except the later are legal and not debated at all, while the positive effects of the later is the largest of all substances mentioned here.
