Police have confessed to the arrest of 99 people from different areas of the capital - before the announcement of the verdict in the Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case against Khaleda Zia. Out of 15 districts, out of Dhaka, 190 people were arrested with the total number of people. With this, about 3,87 people were detained from Jan 30.

Rajshahi's Bagmara Police Station and the police arrested six workers of BNP and Jubo Dal along with retired army in different places.

Naogaon BNP's village and cooperative affairs secretary Rezaul was arrested in Raninagar thana.
