Do not read this, your paradigm might alter

As our society advances in technology so does our ability to have a greater impact on each others lives. The truth is, technology is making us more involved in each others lives to the extent that one persons Facebook post can lead another to change the course of their lives.Technology offers us two choices, we can build a dystopia or a utopia.

Dystopia

When you watch the news, you will hear wars & rumours of war, famine, family crisis,civil disobedience & things as a society we are ashamed to admit exist.

We are creating our world day-by-day by the choices we make, take for example the people who profit from the pain and suffering of others and would prefer the world remain fearful and stuck with the means for upward mobility available to only an elite few. This world would lead to an atlas shrugged scenario were the majority get fed up of their evil overloads & usurp power from them.

Debt is a brilliant slave creator especially if it is only used to consume and not create assets. Since our global currencies can only be created by debt, the world is slowly enslaved at the rate of inflation and may need a change of mind in order to create a fair system.

Utopia

The people that see the world as utopia , see a world of abundance were the rise of automation can lead to a second golden age.

They create disruptions and make them easily available to the common man, for example, the decentralised idea of block chain changed the course of our existence. From what I have gathered on the internet, Satoshi wrote a paper on the idea of blockchain in 2008 during the financial meltdown and and bitcoin came into existence in 2009 after the us government started quantitative easing i.e printing money to save the big banks that the tax payers had to payback.

I think the timing for bitcoins creation sits very well with a paradigm shift where we as a race were tired of being used by the few and wanted freedom for all. Blockchain is freeing up how people can earn and live.

We may in the not so distant future be able to have a universal salary that covers each persons basic needs so that they can focus on their passion. We will help each other build and live free and fuller lives, but the choice is ours, which reality do we want to exist in?
