Frustration

Frustration my friend, my ever present company. When someone you care about ignores you, frustration. When the world is full of darkness, frustration. Politics, frustration. Always frustration. Think of the times that you spend in your car, in your kitchen, in your life, that you feel helpless and broken. Apathy. A lack of ability to move or care. A general numbness to the world and events happening. Anxiety at trying to fit in. Faked happiness keeping the despair at bay. Depression. Life slows down and then turns into a blur as it all races by. One second here, the next there. Not really moving just watching time fly. Even at time's slowest, when days mix with night, time still accelerates. Time moves to moments of happiness. Glimpses of bliss. A peek around the corner. A chuckle of irony. A little bit happy. When you move and don't know why. Smile and feel high. Purring unknowingly. This is what life is about. Life is up. Life is down.
