Very nice story and you are lucky to have such a strong and loving mother. You should try to surprise her with more trips, we all should do that , we all should cherish our mothers.
P.S I might be wrong but in the second photo your mom looks like Nadia Comaneci :)
Ha! She had some of Nadia's skills. That photo was taken on her 28th birthday. Just realised this, I am 28 now.
