Two perfect ways to succeed
Discipline and persistence
Discipline means to make a decision to let go something immediate for something worthwhile.
While
Persistence means a refusal to give up on something.. To continue at something until the desired goal is achieved.
Haven defined these terms, let's take a look at how both work hand in hand.. Discipline as the word portray requires one ability to give up on the immediate for something worthwhile. Often, we have set great dreams but attaining to such a dream sometimes seems impossible and we wonder why? Why do I have such a great dream and unable to attain it? What is wrong with me? You come to a point and begin to feel that dream in you is dying but NO! Don't give up on that dream..all you need is discipline some soul searching questions you need to ask yourself
what is that thing that I have replaced unconsciously for this great dream? are there somethings I have to let go to put this dream to reality?
After you have asked yourself this questions above, there is the need to take a decision. DISCIPLINE comes in at this point! You need to decide..
nothing works until you decide to let them work. A Failure is someone who never takes a decision to get to his dream.
Persistence
Persistence on the other hand, is the ability to continue at something until the desired goal is achieved. It means not giving up on something.
Now that you have taken a decision, you need to stay focused, continue at it. You start a thing and hang on, persistence means continue in it. Continue to do it even when when it's not working, even when the proves fail, even when the circumstances oppose it, even when the result fails
I haven't seen a man who kept at something and never had result (positive) but I have seen a failure who really failed though had a great dream but couldn't keep at it
Your can't see a discipline man that succeeds without persistence. Surely your decision stands when you continue(stayed focused) refusing to give up is actually the hallmark of success
