Contentment is the only way to truly live.

Contentment means being grateful for what you have at hand now whether little or much. It means to understand that the worth of life isn't having all you desire and having all always.

Don't confuse contentment with laziness or complacency. The fact that am contented doesn't mean I should sit back and watch opportunities pass by. It's doesn't mean whatever I have I am okay, I am not going beyond this limit... Contentment doesn't mean you can't or will not explore higher horizons. It simply means you won't be ungrateful to frown at what you have at the moment.

A contented person is not lazy, he doesn't sit back and watch situations happen to him. A contented person is satisfied and never allows himself to be carried away with the waves of jealousy, needless striving, grumbling, murmuring and the likes of all those attitude that results from lack of contentment.

Three ways to understanding what contentment is

1. A contented person looks at NOW as a blessing from God. He is satisfied that God has supplied all he wanted and lives in gratitude. He lives with consciousness of being grateful at all time. Situations may come to stare at him but he is unshaken and no matter how little or much he has, he delights in what he has and even extend it to others

1. Contentment enables you to really live. What makes life worth it is when we actually are satisfied and satisfaction is not when you have got all you want, satisfaction is when you are contented with all you have got, whether you have enough or not. Most people commit suicide today not really because they wish to die but at a point, they feel not getting all they want and reaching the height they desire is a set back for them..this feeling of unfulfillment drives them into negative thought even taking their lives..

1. Contentment is not having plenty because if you wait to have plenty, you may never have enough.. Have you wondered why, the rich amount wealth? Do they ever get enough? Why do they keep looking for more? That's a lot of work!

Lastly, don't forget not everyone who has it all is actually happy and there is nothing much more than staying happy, nothing is as fulfilling as staying contented.. However, strive for better opportunities and remain happy even when nothing is changing because the difference is TIME
