Food for the striving soul

People cross my path each and every day
And from each one, I always try to learn something .
I have come to the realization that many people fight with themselves,
Making their own lives far more difficult.
They are literally their own worst enemy!
They ridicule the features of their body’s , the intelligence of the brains and their skills and abilities to do certain things .

The cure is simple.
They must change the way in which they view life as a whole.
Think of it like this , you are in a lifelong relationship with yourself and just like every other person, you have shortcomings and imperfections but where you can get away from someone who is destructive or annoying , unfortunately your are stuck with yourself all the time. Trust me this being said, if you hate anything about yourself , then these 24 hours of each day for the rest of your life are REALLY going to SUCK!
Ask yourself these questions:

  1. “What is it that I hate about myself?”
  2. “Can I change these things and will it actually make me happier if I do?”
  3. “What influences me to view these things as bad?”(your personal opinion or the opinion of others?)
  4. “Could I learnt to concentrate on myself and what is truly important to me?”

Once you have decided that you are good enough , that you are beautiful , that you are awesome.
Then you learn to love yourself entirely. You become more patient with yourself , more kind to yourself and you become true to yourself.
You know and accept the truth of who you are and let it shine into the world.
That is the key to becoming who you want to be, by understanding who you now are and building from that foundation .
