Veganism: Pro and Cons
Well as we know today it is very fashionable to be "Vegan" which led me to wonder if it was really good to exclude all animal foods from my diet plan.
By investigating a bit from various sources I discovered a couple of things I want to share.
Pro of being vegan
1- Vitamins and antioxidants : One of the advantages of being a vegan is that being a diet rich in fruits and vegetables is much easier for the body to absorb micronutrients and vitamins.
2- Less cholesterol in the blood : As there is no food that is of animal origin, it is much easier to take control of cholesterol, and is better for the functioning of the cardiovascular system.
Cons
1- Iron deficiency: This is because B12 protein is found in meat and eggs, and although many foods contain iron, it is very difficult to find one that takes the place of these two essential sources.
2- Sagging : If you're not doing much exercise sagging may occur in your life, thanks to the lack of amino acids they are those that produce collagen in our body.
These are the pros and cons I wanted to share with you !!
