Hi Dear Friends!!
Today I want to introduce you a handmade cake, typical of the Argentine gastronomy. It is made in the oven and it carries Quince paste, you can eat it in the snack.
The most important thing is that you only need 15´ of baking.
These are their ingredients:
- 250g Self-raising Flour
- 125 g Butter
- 125g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- lemon zest
- 500g Quince paste/ or other if you prefer!
1- Creaming butter and sugar
2- Add lemon zest
3- Add the egg
4- Self-raising flour
5- Form a tender bun without kneading. I do it with the same spatula. Is a soft mass, Take care do not add more flour!!
6- Wrap in film and take to the refrigerator at least 2 hours.
7- With the 3/4 parts of mass stretching and line a mould of 26 or 28 cm in diameter.
8- Put over dulce de membrillo. I previously to it put it in the microwave for 1 minute
9- Do the lattice with the remaining dough and brush with beaten egg.
10- Take to cook in oven at 190 ° for 15 minutes approximately
