Damn, I'm tired. August was...
a grind.
My dad was in the hospital for 20 days. We also had a nasty heat wave, with smoke and poor air quality. It's not supposed to be like Los Angeles in Oregon!
Then a friend of nearly 20 years decided to sabotage our friendship, for a truly innocuous reason. Already under stress, I lost my shit in response. Hopefully it can be repaired. But August was the sort of experience that drives people to the drink.
Given all the stuff with my father, I haven't had time to post or read your Steems. But September is already looking like a month of calm seas here, so I plan to get back into the Steemit of things.
I did have time to shoot some film photography during August, for an escape as much as anything. You can look forward to seeing a few pictures in the near future. And with it, hopefully starting a film photography community.
There should be a special mention of my amazing partner, and what has been the start of a great relationship. We couldn't be happier. She was a bright light, in an otherwise draining month of August for me.

Heat wave, too?
Yep =( yesterday matched the hottest day on record: Probably not as hot as most of Oregon and Southern California but no one has AC around here since it used to stay cool year round before the climate shift in the past 5 years.
