I'll go to Africa in two days for the international music project I told you in my presentation post that's why I thought it can be nice to post the video we did in Barcelona with my two english friends accompanied by an other nice song with more participants and more languages, so you can have an idea about how is the project.

London, UK

NICOLA (New International Company Of Live Arts), linked to British Council, is a beautiful big family with sisters and brothers from all around the world, which was born in 2008. Participants share their musical influences, their culture and their style to combine them in songs that they create, becoming videos after a great deal of work the video team is doing with patience.

Strasbourg, France

There are different related countries like United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Italy, Africa, Brasil, Turkey. NICOLA is doing some music projects usually called "music connection" and dance projects called "dance around the world". They also organize some seminars and debates focused on societal issues like women rights, unemployment, gender quality etc.

All these informations are very theorical, which is I think, not the best way to explain experiences I've had through travels and meetings in NICOLA projects. I've always been passionate in music and these projects gave me a huge opportunity to do something I love, discovering new countries, new cultures, new faces, new voices, new feelings. I've collected very fond memories and I've enjoyed lovely friendships I'll never forget thanks to NICOLA. I'll be happy to post my experience concerning Afrika in 10 days.

You can find two videos below : one with Kiera-Lorelle Rhomes (a sweet and talented artist from UK), Aaron (a nice dancer and rapper from UK) and myself (I'm singing in turkish cause it's easier for me to write lyrics in turkish, but I participated as a french participant). The second video is older than the first one, with friends from everywhere : Lexy Lexx (a lovely and so talented woman from France), Gülsah (a beautiful and powerful singer from Turkey), Geabé (an exceptional rapper from France), Andrea D'Alessio (a very known beatboxer from Italy), Suzie Micheal (a young artist from UK) and Knite MC (from UK).
