What to believe
Have been seeing many articles on what is suppose to happen in 9 days. I am not convinced that astrology portends the future, although I believe the Bible may. I understand that this alignment of the planet and heavenly objects only align every 70 generations but I'm not sure if what is being predicted will occur.
I am open to suggestions. Please leave a response on what your take is. If you follow the link (source), it will take you to the article I read. Thank you for responding.

Im not sure but I think the future is just that, the future...unknowable now because it hasnt happened yet.
Yeah, I think you're right. But it would be nice to get a preview. I just found this interesting in the way it ties the planet movements / positions with the verses in the bible.

Life will go on just like after yr 2012 with the mayen prophesy, and the three blood moons a few yrs back. There is always a supposed event to change life as we know it. If something happens on the 23rd, it would a coincidence. We give power to nonsense.

Based on past history, I see your point. I read about the Mayan prophecy and I gave it some credence, so I guess I fell for it. I also fell for the blood moons prophecy. I guess I am a sucker. You are probably going to be correct on this one too. Thank you for your insight. Have a good day.
True or not, I will just continually pray for the safety of everyone for what may happen. For me, God will always be in control.
I think that's the best solution. I wonder if in fact God is telling people (Bible scholars and people whom believe) what is coming. I am not that smart, so I too will put my trust in him. I hope you have a good day. P.S. I can use the prayers.

Fair enough, we'll walk though that valley of darkness together. Seriously, I'm a believe in the power of prayer too.
Why you're worried? What is predicted will occur. Nobody can stop that. It will be a war, Aliens invasion or end of the world.
Maybe it will be not a literal war, but a war for our minds in mass media. Maybe Aliens will come not to our cities but to our dreams. The world will come to an end but maybe only on some hidden 'higher level'.
Prophesies never fail. It's not a science where you actually can falsify a hypothesis.
No, I'm not actually worried but I am concerned. I understand what you are saying about being powerless to change the inevitable but I also don't want to just sit back and let it happen. I sometimes see myself as the proverbial 'running around like a chicken with it's head cut off'. What you profess is a dose of reality to me and I thank you for your profound insight.
