The kitties are tradeable and collectible. These kittens are tracked on the block chain securing their ownership and preventing others from duplicating your kitten. Up to now, people have spent mone that $19 million on the kittens and amazingly the Founder Cat is going for $163,908.89.

The fad is spreading as Chinese Baidu has launched a 'copycat' version called 'CyyptoDogs'.
