The issue of rape is continually growing... You check the social media and you read about real stories... You read the paper and you see it there... Yesterday, my dad came home with the punch newspaper, and I read a really depressing news, a fourty-three year (43) old man raped a thirteen (13) year old girl.. And I was like dude, seriously??? What could have probably pushed him to to that.. It shows the height of depravity in a man...

Well, this morning, I went to get card at the shop down my street... I had exhuasted my subscription the previous night and I really needed to be online.. The time was probably after eight.
Getting there, the owner of the shop was watching a movie on African magic epic... There were some guys clustered around there smoking.
The scene I stumbled upon was a man wooing a maiden in the village close to a bush path.. You know, it's quite easy to catch up with nollywood movies, the guy probably have been wooing her for a while now..
This lady kept turning down his advances.. It was clear that she was not interested..
Now, beautiful steemians, that was how the guys around there were shouting, "Bros, see bush there... If she no gree, carry am enter bush rape. Girls own are too much. They form alot. They would want you and be pretending not to. Rape her jor"
I kid you not.. I was dumbfounded.
Like, seriously??? Rape her?? She is forming. I knew it was a movie they were watching, but it was above that..

I don't know where some guys get their mentality from..
I don't know if sense is now scarce..
But guys, if a girl tells you no, she means it.
She is not trying to form or play hard to get.
Even if she is your girlfriend.
Non-consensual sex is an offence.
It is punishable by law!!!
