Unexplained facts and great mysteries. In this segment I present the most intriguing cases, unsolved and without scientific explanation. Throughout the history of humanity, famous and inexplicable events have occurred, but with the passage of time, elements are discovered that allow us to understand the causes of what happened. On the other hand, there are others who, despite the research, analysis and perceptions developed over time, remain incomprehensible cases, fascinating cases that defy the laws of physics, logic and rationality.

Catacombs of Paris
It consists of a network of tunnels and underground rooms located in what were, during the Roman era, limestone mines. The mines were converted into a common cemetery at the end of the 18th century.
The use of these worn-out mines for the storage of human bones was established by Charles-Axel Guillaumot, Inspector General of Quarries in 1781, mainly due to the excess of human remains that filled the city's cemeteries.
So many remains from various cemeteries were placed in the catacombs, this period lasted about a year and three months, but the walls of the catacombs are not only covered by corpses, but they have been the place where abominable acts have been done. In 1871 the people of Paris killed a group of monarchists in one of the chambers of the catacombs. During the Second World War these catacombs were used as a tunnel system for the displacement of the French resistance as well as being used by German soldiers where they established a bunker below a secondary school.
Currently only one and a half kilometers inside the catacombs is allowed to enter with the company of a guide, it is believed that they cover more than 300 kilometers. According to reports from the Parisian police, black magic rituals were practiced inside the catacombs.
The recommendation is that you do not go deeper than allowed because the tunnel system is too complex, many of the passages can flood.
