Living Abroad :: Living on holiday!

Without doubt the most enjoyable part of living in a vacation destination is being able to be on holiday at the drop of a hat. Whether this is spending time at the beach, mooching around the tourist spots or calling into a nearby hotel for the afternoon.

We had some free time, a restless child, no school and a beautiful day we decided to go on holiday for the afternoon, so we chose a hotel, packed the kids up and trundled off to the impressive Hyatt in Playa Del Carmen this afternoon for lunch.

Our eldest played in the sand while our little baby snoozed in the calm, quiet and cool beach-front terrace of their grill restaurant.

After a while, our eldest got bored, dropped food over their sofas and bounced around so much she was starting to disturb the other diners. We packed up and left after our baby started farting so loud the people four tables down started looking at us.

It was a nice day out though.
