Selfishness is inherent. We are naturally selfish but while this gives us the drive to work hard and determination to succeed the key factor to success is the act of selflessness along the line. That's what pull the traffic to you. Selflessness is an attractive and selling point.

Braaaaaaah!!!!! Brilliant. @onyemacourage i couldnt agree more bro. I think the list goes on in ways we display selfishness . Its not only restricted to being succesfull. Even being in a relationship is borne out of our desire or would i say selfish interest to fill a void, now please don't get me wrong. Nevertheless, i think the world will be a better place if the reason behind most actions are purely selfless, because i know of someone (who once traversed this planet,) whose selfless act of love saved humanity. And thats a huge motivation for me...

i agree with yhu a bit though, yhu can say everyone has been selfish at a time in their lives but just so yhu know it might not be deliberate and it is not even all selfishness that one should bother about cos some are important for oneself

Personally i dont feel everyone is selfish because selfish sounds like a negative word, i would rather say everyone does what will work in their best interest and at times this might involved being selfless in our various dealings

But its still a fact that everyone is 100% Selfish

The issue now is how and at what occasion are we selfish? Are the personal interests we seek good or bad? Thats exactly what paints selfishness as evil. When our personal interests ain't just, the public terms us selfish and selfless when our personal interests are just.

But the truth remains that we are selfish for we take every single decisions for personal interests...

If you think about it, why do you do anything? Everything that one does is towards themselves. There is a reason why everybody does anything. If you help someone out, you are happy that you helped them out. If you bought somebody a gift, you could be happy that you bought the gift. Slaves did what they did because they did not want to die. If you sacrifice yourself for something, you are doing it because you feel it is right and you feel better about it. Its amazing how some people don't realize this. If you do something, its because you want to do it for your personal benefit.

The evil does evil because they have personally justified it to satisfy their personal interests same thing with the good...

Just before you react to this, think! This is too deep!

Let your personal interests fueling your life be just! Thats only when the world will be a better place.

Don't justify your selfishness, allow the morality standard of the universe to do so...
