The naive person is a thoughtless person. Not because he can't but he doesn't see a need to think through issues. He therefore swallows all the information given him or her raw without checking it out. He doesn't even check if the informant that gave such information in other for him to act in a certain way that is premeditated.

The naive goes along with the programme of the wicked without being aware. Proverbs 14:15 says "the simple believe every word: but the prudent man look well to his going".

A simple man believes anything including what is not true. The naive doesn't just reason. The naive doesn't just make analysis of facts. He doesn't check and cross check. He is an easy prey of deception and betrayal.

WHAT IS THINKING

Wow, this question just got me thinking. This is broad and how do I start, Gosh, I have got to start it anyway so let's get started.

Thinking is the active engagement of the mind on issues for analysis and coming out with conclusions. Thinking is that ability to walk in with a problem and come with a solution. Thinking is paying attention to an issue mentally in a bid to unravel the mysteries that surrounds it.

Thinking is the ability to make projections from a premise.

Thinking is the ability to make projections based on the information at disposal and to determine what line of action that must be taken to achieve your desired goal.

For example, you intend to be a great musician or God told you, you will become a great music artist but you don't practice consistently enough and attend the kind of seminars and training you should, and possibly you are idle sitting down doing nothing in terms of generating money to move and drive the vision. Logically speaking, such a great music artist vision is nothing but a day dream.

If such a vision must come to pass, you might have to start out as a teacher in the primary school so you can start saving some money to do your album, join the church choir in your local assembly that is church, attend seminars and training on music, have a mentor in that line of music, get adequately educated to any level you can afford. Keep your dreams in your heart and work with your hands. Critically speaking, such an individual who takes this kind of steps will doubtless make it.

Thinking is being full of thoughts about a person, a thing or an issue. Thinking is an act of being mentally preoccupied over a matter, considering a thing or a matter heartily.

Difference between a Naive and a Thinker

A naive person is thoughtless, does not weigh issues with his mind rather he confronts them with his bare hands only to discover that he can't lift them. But a thinker, will engage the force of imagination coupled with meditation and travel on a journey and return while on the same spot physically. He has weighed issues in his mind then he begins to act with precision.

A naive person makes a deal with an individual he is meeting for the first time in a church programme, he assumes this is church he cannot steal my money, see the way he shouts "AMEN" he must be a prayer warrior, but a thinker demands an identity card, checks out the man at the office, demands to see number of job he has done in the past and possibly contact his former customers and possibly involve a lawyer before engaging in a contract or deal of any sort.

Take Home Advice

Trusting without thinking is walking into a ditch with eyes closed. Many only open their eyes in the grave, in irreparable emotional trauma. Open your eyes and be a thinker and not a naive.
