ON SMALL MUNDANE THINGS NOW TRIVIALIZED
We may get to a point in our daily lives where we fail to recognize those things that may seem small thing to us, things like being able to brush your mouth every morning, wearing your clothes and maybe bending to sweep the house or washing of dishes; we may see them as small things that we should not take cognizance of and as such we fail to express gratitude to God for the ability to do them.
Since they had become a routine and a part of our lives we think them easy and simple.
You see those 200 naira clothes you are able to buy, wash, iron and then wear, they may seen as though life is been unfair to you and the temptation to compare your standard or living with another may set in.
You see that ability to have a plate and a cup of garri and groundnut in your house that you can sip, drink or soak, with functional hands and functional body systems, that we may even look upon with disdain and as such fail to express gratitude over.
Sometimes, when we take our eyes off these things and focus directly on all that may be lacking to our eyes, we fail hugely in our gratitude quotient, when it is measured.
Take a lot at your life, at my life, some days we may not have what to eat, and what new cloth to wear, you may not have money overflowing from your account, but the strength and courage is in being grateful for the little you have.
Gratitude is not just you been grateful for what you have, but it's you been hopeful for what is to come.
If you are like me with little or nothing in your account, and with the last supper on your plate or old clothes in your wardrobe, if you have one or your bag, choose the attitude of HOPEFUL GRATITUDE, while putting strategies and funnels in place where your next big thing is going to be channeled from.
It will always be better.
Yes.... I have dat same hope dat soon it will b better. Nice piece dear
