Parent chromosomes contain genetic material that inherits the parent's inheritance through them. Each human has 64 chromosomes, which take 23 Chromosome from the mother and 23 more from the father. Each egg has a Chromosome X and each sperm has an X or Y Chromosome . The combination of chromosomes X and y defines the child's gender. If the sperm that fertilizes the egg contains X, you will be the owner of a girl and if you carry Y chromosomes with your own, your baby will naturally become a boy.
