In a World where material/exotic things are placed before humanity and good deeds, where the poor lavish in extreme wants and the rich manage to waste their resources on trivial things such is the present state of planet Earth!
$2500 USD or £1700 is the price of the World Most expensive chicken. The origin of this chicken which could be traced back to Java Island of Indonesia, this Jet Black Ayam Chicken is popularly referred to as the "Lamborgini of Poultry Birds"; a special breed from a Florida Based birds breeder Paul Bradshaw.
History behind the rare Chicken
He Started this trade back in 2013 and the bird was named after a Village in Indonesia called Cemani in Central Java. The rare color of this chicken is as a result of excessive pigmentation of tissues which is caused by a Genetical condition refereed to as "Fibromelanosis". In China, Black Chicken are treasures hence the price of the Chicken black is worth it according to a Chinese Reporter.
Exotic Birds are expensive just like the justifiable price of the Jet-Black Ayam Cemani Chicken. Bird watchers and collectors of this exotic birds covet this rare Chicken, it is hard to get and weigh up to 2 to 2.5kg while the Hens weigh from 1,5 to 2kg. The other beauty to behold is the eggs the hens lay; a cream colored eggs with a slight pink tint.
Scientist confirmed that the only normal feature of the Ayam Cemani Breed of Chicken is it's Blood which is red like other animals, but the bones, meats, organs, beak, tongue, Comb and wattles are all Black/appears Black!

All I can think of right now is how the chicken tastes. Does it have a different taste from other chickens or does it have more nutrients? Is it only the black colour that makes it so expensive?
