Don't live a life of regret
Live your life and don't fret
With that, you run faster than a jet
Lot of people that i have met
None wants to fall into regret's net
On this very note i can bet
Treat people with care, possibly pet
Give people sometimes a reset
An opportunity for them to start all over again.
I just read about a lady who shared on Twitter that her ex that she blocked from all socials and any other means of reaching her, since 2013 passed away in 2017, while she tried to reach out to him, i think this week. She said she is sorry and she is filled with lot of regrets right now. That is a bad feeling to have.
She would want to go back in time to make amends but she can't. Only a moment of forgiveness could have made this pain a little bearable. It is true what they say, no matter how much you dislike someone, you wouldn't want to wish death on them. Note, i said dislike and not hate.
Life should be with caution and understanding. People will hurt you, but that's part of growing in life. From her tweet, it shows whatever that guy did, she could have overlooked it but she didn't. Death is never a cool thing. It leaves no one the chance to make amends.
Don't live your life in regrets. Let go of things. I know sometimes it is hard, but it is harder finding yourself in a state of regrets where the choice to make amends has been totally stripped from you.
If she could turn back the hands of time, i know she would do things differently. It doesn't mean they would necessarily date, but she would get to a point where she wouldn't have to feel this worse.
Don't live a life of regret. Do things with moderation, consideration and appreciation.
