Hello Steemit!! I'm so excited to START!!
Actually, I have started, but a wise young soul advised I do an introduction, so here I go! I'm the 58 year old Mom of three awesome kids, Grammy Tammy to four incredible grandgirls. Don't let my age fool you, I feel like I'm 20! My husband of 31 years retired last year after teaching lower elementary PE for 40 years. We have a fondness, but not the checkbook for island travel. Cancun and Jamaica have captured our hearts! This picture of our front porch in SE Iowa makes me wonder why we need to leave home though.
You will come to see I have a love affair going with white twinkle lights. Should you ever visit, don't stand still too long, you might find yourself wrapped in them!
I am the staff accountant at an insurance mutual. I love my Raleigh Capri bike, golf, the sun, the ocean. I grew up right on the mighty Mississippi and water is where I feel my best. I'll be excited to share pictures of our awesome backyard...we have three fully stocked ponds, Koi, Koi and Koi. 70's music is my passion, so expect to hear all about it! I'm completely and totally excited to get this thing going!

Its a lot of fun. i can't stop posting to see how much the posts will actually earn. Its nice to earn Steem for the future. And yet all it requires is time and talking to people. Enjoy.
I'm still not 100% sure I'm doing all I can to earn. My post yesterday broke like one cent! I'm trying to follow and reply to everyone!
Keep at it offtooz. The key I found is to tell new people in the introduction part of the board that you are following their posts. 70% that person will then follow you. Over the last 2 weeks i've raked in over 200 followers primarily doing that. The more people following your posts the better payouts will come. I think my first 75 posts made like .01 cent. For ALL 75. Just grow your following. It will come. Hang in there.

Eagles probably my favorite from that list. I got to see Stevie live in Seattle last year -she's AMAZING. Wish I could've seen Fleetwood back in the day (if I were alive lol)
