Multnomah Falls:- Another attractive and amazing fall is Multnomah Falls. It is about 600+-foot-tall formation was created to win the heart of a princess who wanted somewhere to bathe in private. Hogenakkal is situeted near Bangalore ranging from 15 to 65 feet with 14 different channels. Hogenakkal Falls is fed by the Kaveri River and the water flows toward the Stanley Reservoir. Carbonated rocks are found near the falls, and are some of the oldest in the world. The best time to visit Hogenakkal Falls is between July and October. It usually takes about half a day to visit, and there are nearby trails for exploring as well.
