RE: What Makes Successful People Different?

But most importantly: Make sure that you have the three bottom rows of Maslow’s need hierarchy fulfilled.

Oh, you are 80% of the world and even this is beyond your reach? Sucks to be you. Good luck in actualizing a banana and some rice on your plate tonight.

"Maslow studied what he called exemplary people such as Albert Einstein, Jane Addams, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Frederick Douglass rather than mentally ill or neurotic people, writing that "the study of crippled, stunted, immature, and unhealthy specimens can yield only a cripple psychology and a cripple philosophy." Maslow studied the healthiest 1% of the college student population."

You forgot "born into poverty and grinding socioeconomic strife", Maslow.

Of course one would need to fulfill the first rows of the hierarchy. That's why I mentioned that the need to grow was at the top most. Only by fulfilling the first ones can we reach that top one.
