How to be Successful in Sales Career
Sale is a dynamic profession. Everyone wants to be successful in professional life as well as personal life. I started my sales profession before 12 years ago it was 2006. My first journey was in distribution sales at Banglalink Mobile Company. At that moment I was Zonal Sales Manager. Thereafter I worked as a RSM of Okapia Mobile at 2016. In 2017 I worked as a RSM of Huawei Mobile. In 2018 I again worked as a General Manager, Sales at Okapia Mobile. So I already passed near about 12 year’s sales career in distribution sales. Among these 12 years I got 9 national & 3 international awards regarding sales performance. Alhamdulillah. From my point of view I follow 7 ways to be successful in sales career those are given below:
1. Be Confident:
Be confident about your Almighty Allah, confident on self, your product and your company. Try to attempt for your work and always think why I cannot do the work. If anyone does then I can do it also. If you won’t confident on yourself then you cannot be a good sales man.
2. Do hard work:
You have to work hard in your sales career. May be your boss won’t be good, company won’t be good, product won’t be good but you have to do your best work. Remember hard work beats talent where talent doesn’t do hard work. So keep on track by through hard work.
3. Be Positive:
As a sales person you must have to be positive in attitude. Without positive attitude you can’t be result oriented. If you be positive then result will be positive and if you be negative then result will be negative. Negative minded people never are good sales person. Negative mind always destroy his career by his mindset.
4. Team Work:
Every sales person has a team. It may be distributor, customer, Boss & colleagues. As a perfect sales man you have to think that your team member will be comrade not subordinate. So as a team leader you have to go to front with your soldier. They have to teach what they are unknown and then they will know how to do that.
5. Follow up:
In sales Job most success comes by follow up. If you follow more than success will come more. Remember in sales job we done lot of plans but you have to execute that all plan. When execution is needed then need more and more follow up. Maximum sales man performance downward due to lack up sales follow up.
6. Relationship:
In sales Job if you would like to do better work you need four types of relationship (among Distributor, Retailer, Team mate & Boss). If you properly maintain this relationship then sales result will come properly. If you don’t make your relationship then sales result will be downward.
7. Presentation of Good Work:
As a good sale professional you have to present your good work. If you hide yourself then you hide your potentiality. You may be stay at far places from company. So you are doing good work regularly but your head office won’t know this. You can send your local good achievement by through mail to head offices boss. Then head office will aware your performance and evaluate your good deed.
