Good point, I could add from my personal experience that, appart from all that you have clearly expressed, the person next to you should help you understand things you do not seem to understand through a calm and peaceful dialogue. That should be part of good sharing, learning from mistakes and being able to listen to the other when she/he thinks there is something wrong in order to find a solution. ---> I upvoted yo and hope you can vote me in return.
