Neo-Nazis online say they want to co-opt mainstream conservative politics

Just now while reviewing my Youtube channel's analytics, I found out the neo-nazi website Daily Stormer embedded one of my videos of violence in Charlottesville into an opinion piece of theirs.

It goes without saying that I unequivocally condemn them and their use of my work, but I'd like to highlight the real-world danger of what they wrote with it.

In the article titled "Days of Lead Descend on Italy – Lessons for the American Alt-Right," they compare today's Italian far-right participating in street combat to America's alt-right fighting antifa (which they illustrate using my video).

The observation they make is that while there's an alignment between the far right parties and the far right street fighters in Italy, the alt-right on the street is typically condemned by conservative American politicians. They hope to change that.

They argue the following: "This is why we need somebody within the mainstream conservative movement willing to at least not counter-signal us. That’s why we need to join the NRA, take over CPAC and start making inroads into the Republican party."

Because their site was removed from most hosting platforms and now finds itself on the deep web, people may be entirely unaware this sort of plotting occurs. This isn't insignificant; from my analytics, I can tell at least 1000 people read it closely enough to watch the video embedded in it.

It's not the conservative movement's fault that nazis want to co-opt them, but it's their fault if they allow it to happen.

Note what they write: "Right-wing street fighters and Right-wing parties stay separate but don’t attack one another. They work together on an implicit level. They even find ways to get the police on their side. We should be taking notes."
