Nothing is Perfect
Years back in 1948, at London, when Ace cricketer Donald Bradman hung his gloves, the cricket world where a bit disappointed… ! Had he scored a boundary in his last innings at the Oval Cricket Stadium , London , his batting average would have looked perfect @ 100 runs per innings. However that never happened… He ended up with an average of 99.94 %. Yesterday while watching Bolt finishing 3rd in London in 2017 , the sentiment was the same. For a maverick runner who has never allowed anyone to stride in front of him throughout his 9 years of sports career, the last run was a reminder to us that nothing can remain perfect ever….
May be it is a fact of life that despite all the nobility and achievements, being perfect is never a constant for humans. Claiming to be perfect means, you leave no chance to improve further…
Therefore we can uphold this age old cliché ….. Nothing can be Perfect…. We can strive for perfection and in the process, we achieve greater levels of brilliance… like Donald Bradman , or Usain Bolt……….
