That's not true! Witnesses are producing blocks to keep blockchain working.
Do you think witnesses are just taking money? Do you know how much server costs?
It's over $100 per month and reward can be much smaller. I get around 30 SP per month.
Anybody can host a node and take rewards for it. I'm talking about how there is nothing going on regarding the actual development of either blockchain or this pathetic placeholder of a social network - Steemit. Most of the witnesses do nothing at all.
