My long break from Steemit, and being fired from my job

Hey guys, I know I haven't been around, but I wanted to share a situation that happened recently.

For the last couple months, I have not been able to post due to my situation at work recently me and my boss had it out and it resulted in a confrontational situation which escalated and became physical he grabbed my arm and would not let me go.

He placed his entire body weight on my arm for me being a considerably dark female you could visibly see bruising and swelling on my arm.

This all escalated from MULTIPLE situations where he would talk down on women in the workplace refer to us as stupid and was blatantly racist and referred to a past coworker as a "spic" and often blamed me and another dark-skinned coworker for mistakes around the workplace.

I felt especially targeted because he would constantly pick on me in the work place about everything even if it had NOTHING to do with me and i felt he would target me because i would stand up for myself, he would let his personal feelings and religion effect the work place.

After he assaulted me the effects of his assault were not immediately visible so when I showed the police they saw nothing visible. Only one other coworker saw this assault and later contacted me saying that she saw what happened but the police never questioned her she asked me to make it a case so she could testify, later she quit.

So that sums up me not being on steemit at all I've found a new job that's more flexible pays more and has a better energy. So I'll be able to post more and continue with my work on steemit
