I think sometimes when things are going so well for awhile it is hard to remember when times were bad. It can also be hard to compartmentalize things the way we once would when we were more accustomed to hardships.

Now you may be thinking this post is going to get real deep. You're thinking, "Oh, God. Who cares what this degenerate has to say about living life."

Fear not! I'm talking about the Seahawks not being in the playoffs for the first time since 2011. I'm talking about not having a 10-win season for the first time in that period. I'm talking about remembering my childhood watching just absolute, god-awful football year after year.

Sometimes it is easy to forget that Seattle is the owner of the most inept offense in the history of the modern NFL.

Sometimes it is easy to forget that Seattle is the owner of some of the worst draft picks in the history of the game - ie. Brian Bosworth.

How about the Mariners? Now that Buffalo made the playoffs they now carry the longest playoff drought in professional sports in America. The Seattle Mariners playoff drought is officially old enough to receive his/her/shim's license.

My Oh My.

Good news for me - I don't take the losses as hard as some fans. Check out this Pittsburgh fan who absolutely lost it after the loss to Jacksonville over the weekend. My favorite part (aside from threatening to kill himself) was the "Don't ask me to do nothing! The dishes. Nothing!" This is a grown man we are talking about here...
